Avenue Tree is the parent brand behind a growing collection of resorts and nature stays in Masinagudi, The Nilgiris.
Avenue Tree came about because two properties in the same village were quietly solving the same problems on their own: how to get guests to the forest gate in good time, how to set expectations kindly and accurately about what a safari can offer, how to feed people beautifully when every ingredient comes up a ghat road, and how to be genuinely useful about roads, seasons and closures.
Each property keeps its own character. Labdhi Resorts is timber, wildlife and an early alarm. Aranyasun is a garden, a dog on the lawn and an unhurried breakfast. What they share is deep local knowledge and a promise to tell you how things really are — we will never promise you a tiger, but we will give you every chance of a wonderful morning.
Today we look after two properties, both in Masinagudi, and we would be delighted to welcome you to either. This is a growing family of stays, and there will be more to come — in this beautiful corner of the Nilgiris and, in time, beyond it.

Neither property runs a buffet, and we rather like it that way. Tell us in advance what you enjoy and we will look after you properly.
We Leave This Place as We Found It
No feeding animals, no plastic into the forest, no night driving through the reserve and no drones over protected areas. Our guests tend to care about this as much as we do, which is one of the nicest things about them.
Two Properties Now, Room for More
Masinagudi is the first destination and, for now, the only one. Both properties sit within a few kilometres of each other and of the forest boundary, and between them they cover most of what people come here wanting.
